According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA), The conference is to be held on March 14-15 in cooperation with Syria’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Cultural Center in Damascus.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri secretary general of the FPIST will attend the event heading a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The conference will discuss theoretical bases of Islamic unity according to the holy Quran and the Sunnah of the holy Prophet (PBUH) as well as the role of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in boosting Islamic unity.
Other topics to be discussed at the event include practical aspects of Islamic unity, international Quds day and Islamic unity, and the character of the holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
